To engage regional youth involved in agriculture with conversations, increase skills, support and networking to build drought and business resilience, through an engaging forum and network.

Aim

The Young Agriculture Professionals (YAP) Network is to create a community of like-minded people who are involved in the agricultural community in any capacity, and are either the youngest active generation on-farm or are up coming and in their ag career.Young Agriculture Professionals (YAPs) Network

Research Information & Objectives

A network that provides support through events, resources, publications and connections. This can vary form informal to more formal, targeted information that is relevant and beneficial and people that can help in the good and bad times.

The inaugural YAP’s event Field of Futures Dinner was held on 14 August 2024, at GMHBA Stadium, Geelong, featuring special guests Rhys Stanley and Dr Elle Moyle, and hosted by Oli Le Lievre from Humans of Agriculture.
