  • Farm Finance

To bring all Hub partners together, plus key industry and researcher guests to come up with ways to improve linkages and the overall role of farm advisors, to enhance the resilience of farm businesses.

Through regional consultations conducted by Node stakeholders as well as research from the Knowledge-Brokering team, farm finances has been identified as a key factor in drought resilience. Specifically, the role of farm advisors (accountants, bank managers, rural suppliers, agronomists etc.) has been identified as the focus area for an online Webinar (public) and Think Tank (closed). Advice to farmers can often be siloed, with each farm adviser offering expertise on their specific area, therefore making it hard for farmers to get a holistic picture of their business. This event aims to bring key Hub partners and experts together to develop solutions and funding pathways to improve linkages amongst farm advisors.
