As the year draws to a close, November has been another busy month for the Vic Hub, continuing our mission to support farmers and communities across the state and connect leading research with practical solutions. By partnering with farmers, industry, and regional communities, we’re creating innovative approaches to improve economic, environmental, and social resilience to drought.

This month at the Hub

Welcome John Bennett: We’re pleased to introduce John Bennett as the new Independent Chair of our Investor Oversight Committee. John, a Wimmera farmer with extensive experience in agricultural leadership, will officially step into the role in February 2025.
Support for farmers: Challenging conditions persist in some parts of Victoria, particularly during harvest in the south-west. If you or someone you know needs support, we’ve included a list of available services and resources in this month’s update.
