The Vic Hub’s August newsletter starts with a simply laid-out update about climate drivers, with our Director talking about El Niño, US NOAA and long-range BOM seasonal forecasts.

This edition we highlight a completed project about spraying pork effluent onto farm soil; give an update on another project, ‘Future Fodder’, where the outcomes are guiding enhanced drought preparedness; and outline 2 new long-term, drought resilience trials that the Vic Hub was just awarded $15m funding to lead.

See what topics were on the table when the Federal Member for Nicholl visited the Vic Hub HQ; catch up on what our soil expert was doing in the Mallee and our Director in the NT; and if you, or someone you know is doing their Honours, don’t miss out on applying for this scholarship (applications close 31 August).

Packed full of information from our partners across Victoria, you can read the August edition online here, plus catch up with previous editions.
