Vic Hub is offering 10 x $500 drought-resilience awards for Honours research students

The Victoria Drought Resilience Adoption & Innovation Hub is committed to building capacity that enhances the future resilience of farmers and regional communities.

To this end, the Vic Hub is offering 10 awards of $500 each to support aspiring Victorian research students in the delivery of their Honours research. The awards will be determined through a competitive process, as judged by a panel of researchers from the Vic Hub.

Application process

  1. Applications must be submitted by Honours students.
  2. In not more than 1,000 words applications must:
    1. Provide an overview of the project
    2. Highlight links to the key focus areas of the Victoria Drought Resilience Adoption & Innovation Hub
    3. Demonstrate how the research project will contribute to new understanding that will enhance the drought resilience of Victorian farmers and communities.
  3. Applications must be submitted in Word format.
  4. Applications must be signed by the student’s Supervisor.

Applications must be submitted by close of business, 31 August 2023. 

Successful applicants will be notified 11 September 2023.
