Applications are now open for Round 1 of the Small Network Grants program. With 18 Victorian Local Government Areas prioritised (see box), the Small Network Grants are designed to support simple initiatives that build stronger connectedness and/or strengthen the social capital that enables regional people and communities to be more prepared for, and resilient to, the impacts of drought.FDF019.1023 FDF Small Network Grants IG

Funded through the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund (FDF), these grants are part of the Helping Regional Communities Prepare for Drought Initiative – a commitment to support Australian agricultural communities to build drought resilience.

Victorian regional and rural community organisations could be eligible for up to $20,000 grants.

Delivered through the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR), applications for Round 1 are open until 14 November, 2023.
