Vic Hub partner, Agriculture Victoria, recently hosted the successful two-day Farm Business Resilience (FBR) workshop ‘In good times and in bad: Adaptive skills for your farming future’.

The event, held at the welcoming Colbinabbin Country Hotel, featured Dr. Kate Burke as the keynote presenter and was attended by seven farmers and two service providers.

Kate guided participants through the four crucial pillars of FBR: strategic farm business management, farm risk management and informed decision-making, natural resource management, and personal & social resilience. The workshop emphasised the importance of focusing on key decisions that significantly impact farm businesses.

Participants left the workshop with actionable plans and a renewed commitment to enhancing their business strategies. The positive feedback underscored the workshop’s success and the value of the insights provided.

For those interested in future workshop dates and information for Goroke, Joel Joel, and Skipton can be found on the Vic Hub events page.
