What is TEKFARM?

Supported by the Future Drought Fund (FDF), TEKFARM accelerates and scales drought-resilience technologies.

The project, managed by Farmers2Founders, helps Australian farmers prepare for the impacts of drought by accelerating technology adoption.

TEKFARM is a grant recipient through the FDF Better Practices Program, focusing on the Extension and Adoption of Drought Resilience Farming Practices.

TEKFARM aims to reduce the complexity of agtech and increase its adoption among Australian farmers, ultimately leading to more efficient and sustainable farms, with increased resilience to droughts.

 

With a network of advisers working in all ag sectors, TEKFARM focuses on simplifying the selection and implementation of technologies on farms.

Once a farmer has chosen a technology, TEKFARM monitors each implementation, checking in to see how it’s performing. This ongoing feedback ensures that the best options are identified and optimised, and TEKFARM can help even more farmers find the right solutions.
