Join Vic Hub’s North-West Irrigated Horticulture Node, Mallee Regional Innovation Centre and hear the latest research findings from two of their latest areas of work in the Victorian Drought and Innovation Hub.

 

Managing drought risks through new water allocation outlooks – promoting adoption and supporting decision making

Dr Tristan Graham will present on the findings from the Water Allocation Outlooks Project

Harmful and nuisance blue-green algae in water supply and sludge/ wash water recovery systems: Investigating accumulation phenomenon and management strategies

Dr Arash Zamyadi will present on his investigations on the blue-green algae as an accumulation phenomenon and the key findings that will inform management strategies.

In addition to the presentations, the event provides a networking opportunity with researchers, Centre’s staff, academics from the University of Melbourne and the Water group stakeholders more broadly.
