2025 GV Tertiary Information Day poster p1We welcome you to The Melbourne University’s Dookie and Shepparton campuses to learn about studying Agriculture, a Diploma in General Studies, Medicine and Dentistry. (Vic Hub HQ is situated at Dookie campus; you can chat with us here to find out what we do too.)

The School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystem Sciences Dookie campus will open 10am-1pm, with a free bus departing at 9:30am from Shepparton (location to be confirmed). Course information, current research projects, campus tours and agriculture displays including indigenous garden, drought innovation and research hub, winery, shearing and wool-handing and robotic dairy will be offered. Catch the free bus home again to arrive in Shepparton at approximately 1:30pm.

The Melbourne Medical School’s Department of Rural Health in Shepparton will open at 11am-4pm with campus tours (at 11am, 1pm and 3pm) including teaching and learning areas, student accommodation and simulation lab, a fun debate discussing the importance of Rural Medicine and Allied Health, careers and courses expo, free BBQ lunch and a Yarn Up for First Nations students and community.

Please note: snacks, fruit and water will be provided at Dookie campus.

BBQ Lunch: What if I have dietary requirements?

There will be a free BBQ lunch offered at the Shepparton campus between 12:30pm-2:30pm. There will be halal, vegetarian and gluten free options available. Please note dietary requirement requests through bookings will close Thursday 7 August at 3pm.

 

Where can I park on the day?

Dookie campus: there is designated signed parking to the right of the main driveway at Dookie campus. Shepparton campus: limited parking is available at the back of the campus. Other parking options; street parking and GV Health carpark (fees payable).

 

What should I register for?

Registrations for both the Shepparton and Dookie campuses are optional. If you’re interested in attending a specific session or campus tour, we strongly encourage booking a spot. Booking to attend the day does not secure you a spot on the campus tour or study sessions.
