Agricultural service providers play an important role in maintaining a thriving agricultural industry in the Mallee. Your experiences and knowledge of drought and recovery can help us to identify issues and opportunities to enhance the region’s drought preparedness and resilience.

Come and share your thoughts and ideas with us at a small consultation session in Mildura on Monday 13 May from 3pm to 5pm.

Registrations close 11 May.

This project received funding from the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund.

Mallee Regional Innovation Centre, as the North-West Irrigated Horticulture Node of the Vic Hub, will be holding consultation sessions to talk about a drought cycle which is made up of the good times, a period of uncertainty, actual drought and drought recovery. See the Vic Hub’s drought phases on our Resource page.

We believe that these consultations will assist in identifing issues and opportunities that could lead to beneficial co-designed projects to build drought resilience in farming communities.

Stakeholder feedback is crucial to meaningful drought consultations.

Sessions are limited to 10 people only.

People on the waiting list will be adjusted in the second group.
