Innovation Broker, Bow Souter

Vic Drought Hub - Farmland 1

Before joining the Vic Hub, Bow’s most recent role was as a Climate Change Officer in Victoria’s Strathbogie Ranges. It’s a role that equipped him well in managing projects, while gaining a thorough understanding of the legislative sphere around natural resource management and improving sustainable organisational practices. He also often found himself disseminating technical and macro-system information to those outside natural ecosystem sciences. Having begun his career as a station hand at Ogunbil, in the NSW New England region, Bow also brings a host of on-farm experience to his work, augmenting his work in OH&S roles.

Bow is part-way through studying for a Master of Environment through The University of Melbourne, building on his Diploma in General Studies (2017) and Bachelor of Agriculture (2019).

Having studied for both those at Melbourne Uni’s Dookie campus, he is happy to be based in an area he loves dearly in a role where he can help influence tangible change within the resource sustainability sector.
