Innovation Broker, Bow Souter

Vic Drought Hub - Farmland 1

Before joining the Vic Hub, Bow spent two years as the Climate Change Officer for Strathbogie Shire Council, where he gained an understanding of the legislative sphere around natural resource management and improving sustainable organisational practices. With his first position as a station hand at Ogunbil, in the NSW New England region, Bow brings on-farm experience to his work, plus OH&S familiarity from his previous role in that area.

Bow is part-way through studying for a Master of Environment through The University of Melbourne, building on his Diploma in General Studies (2017) and Bachelor of Agriculture (2019).

Having studied for both those at Melbourne Uni’s Dookie campus, he is happy to be based in an area he loves in a role where he can help influence tangible change within the resource sustainability sector.

The Innovation Broker role is funded through an agreement with AgriFutures Australia.
